SEE US ON OUR HIT SERIES "SELLING NEW YORK" NOW STREAMING Jamie Mitchell seemed destined to be a successful real estate agent. Her uncle was a pioneer in commercial real estate leasing as it exists today in New York. During her summer breaks from college, Jamie worked for the family business and got her footing early. While many of her relatives gravitated towards the commercial real estate side, Jamie felt an affinity towards helping individuals and families. Simply, she found it more fulfilling to work with people looking to buy a home.
For the past 21 years Jamie has been a successful real estate agent through up and down markets, thereby establishing herself as one of New York’s premier agents. She understands the unique pressures of residential real estate whether it is a “buyer’s” or a “seller’s” market, and helps her clients form a strategy – which begins with fully understanding each client’s objectives — to buy, sell, or even do nothing for the moment.
Purchasing an apartment in Manhattan or Brooklyn can be stressful. Also, there is no substitute for experience when it comes to real estate negotiations and closings. Relying on her experience, Jamie works in skillful manner – one of urgency coupled with common sense — that helps reduce potential stress. As a result of her experience and personable demeanor, Jamie is one of New York’s most sought-after real estate professionals with 95% of her clients coming from referrals or repeat business. HGTV selected Jamie as one of the Kleier Residential agents to be featured on its popular TV show, Selling New York.
As a member of REBNY, Jamie works all over Manhattan — from Tribeca to the Upper East Side – and in the most desirable neighborhoods in Brooklyn – including Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights, DUMBO and Williamsburg. At Kleier Residential, Jamie has been appointed the broker specialist for the following buildings:
· 75 Henry Street, Brooklyn
· The Sutton East (345 East 56th Street)
· 510 East 86th Street
· 1255 Fifth Avenue Condominium
· The Waterford Condominium (300 East 93rd Street)
· 30 Main Street, Brooklyn
Jamie grew up in Manhattan, living in The Sutton East (345 East 56th Street), where now she is a top-selling agent in the building. Upon graduation from Syracuse University, she moved to the Upper East Side of Manhattan. She currently lives with her husband, who is a real estate and tax attorney.
Jamie is a runner and an animal lover. She has done several triathlons and finished the New York City marathon twice, running to raise money to find cures for multiple sclerosis and paralysis.
